I always enjoy a good Barbera from Piemonte 🇮🇹 … it’s very versatile to pair with all sorts of food , due to its natural high acidity and lower tannins, can serve it next to pasta, soups, pies or even meats or charcuterie. The Costa Bruna from Poderi Colla situated in Barbaresco, comes from a mix of vines on marly soils , some of them being 90 years old (2ha)… resulting in a more complex wine, matured in oak for 1 year. The wine shows elegance,freshness, red fruits, floral, some spicy notes and vibrant acidity !
